Cactus Thief is roots rock n roll music out of New Orleans, Louisiana. They formed in 2015 around the songs of Aaron Maras. The aim was to create a band inspired by the traditional dance hall bands of Louisiana, but craft songs that feel new. Modern folk music that leans to the side of Rock n Roll with strong elements of traditional Cajun, Gospel and country music.

Emily Neustrom released her first solo album of original tunes in April, recorded and produced in Lafayette, LA during the pandemic. The album "No More Jambalaya", recorded and produced by Chad Viator, in collaboration with Tif Lamson. Album musicians include Chris Stafford, Leah Graeff, Marie-Isabelle Pautz, Michael Doucet, Chris French, Peter Dehart, Josh Leblanc and Julia Price. All original songs written by Emily cross the genres of country, indie folk, pop and heartbreak.
