A country twanger with a rock n roll edge, Derek W. Dooms has a sound reminiscent of early rock pioneers Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry mixed with the country/western swing and storytelling of Willie Nelson and George Jones. He blends multiple musical genres into his own form of Americana and brings an energy to the stage that’s sure to excite any crowd. Derek recently recorded his debut album, “A Good Day To Be Alone” at Annunciation Studios in New Orleans. The album will be released on December 15, 2023.

Tiny Dinosaur makes fantasy folk music. Their songs tell stories of witches, love lost and found, and the butter goblin that rearranges your record collection and lives in your fridge. The band loves vocal harmonies, telling stories, and making music for people (and dogs.)

Dusky Waters is the project founded by singer-songwriter Jenn Jeffers. She uses the name Dusky Waters as a nom de plume as well as an expression of her affinity for the magic of twilight hours and the presence of the Mississippi River that has anchored her life from her childhood on the banks of its tributary, the Arkansas River in Little Rock, to her early twenties in the delta of northern Louisiana, to her current crescent city home on the Gulf Coast. Absorbing and exploring the sounds that she uncovered along the way, her songs ultimately uncover what it is to be a Black, Southern, millennial woman, negotiating the 2020s.
