Majid has performed Worldwide with different Jazz & Blues fusion bands and played with musicians such as Archie Shepp, Pharoah Sanders, Johachim Kuhn, to name a few.

He released more than 20 albums with different musicians and bands from Morocco and abroad.

His record "Makemba" released in 2010 was selected by "Songlines" magazine as the best Gnawa fusion album and his latest record "Magic Spirit Quartet" released in 2020 was selected by Downbeat magazine as Editor's Choice.
